Private sector entities with, in the past year, an average of 50 to 249 employees under permanent or fixed-term employment contracts must, by Dec. 17, 2023, establish internal whistleblowing reporting channels.

Until that date, entities that have adopted the 231 model or intend to adopt it continue to operate internal reporting channels in accordance with the provisions of LD. 231/2001.

The new Guidelines on the subject were adopted by the National Anti-Corruption Authority (ANAC) with Council approval at its meeting on July 12, 2023 (Resolution No. 311).
